Google Trusted 360 Photographer in Western Australia creating 360 degree virtual reality photos (photospheres) for google maps or website embedding.
These images are best used to support a description of a location, such as tourism, venue, and hospitality to give an idea of what the location is like. For example, showing a venue for conferences or events to provide a better idea of what it looks like prior to booking.
We are currently working on a project to map light pollution from dark sky locations in conjunction with dark sky meter reading to promote astronomy/astrophotography locations and for the conservation of dark skies. Photographing and measuring the night sky quality at locations periodically will allow for a basis to measure changes over time to see the improvement or deterioration of locations.
How many photospheres are needed? Just the right amount. Some locations only need a few to showcase them properly.
